THE RETURN OF THE RAY! Developed simultaneously with our Falcon Slalom boards, the Ray´s are the fastest Freerace boards that fanatic has ever made.

Even the race team could be seen eyeing these shapes enviously during the R&D process. As the Slalom discipline has grown, more and more people have been attracted to modern Slalom boards. However not everyone has the skills to ride a high performance slalom board - so Sebastian and his team took all the positive aspects learnt from our Falcon development, combined some of our Freeride features from his vast CAD data base and created the Ray line.

The 4 Ray´s have exactly the same volumes as the new Falcons, but slightly narrower centres and tails, with fuller rails for control, comfort and excellent jibing abilities. Combined with our legendary Falcon rocker line, the Ray is the dream board for anyone looking to go fast, easily. But don´t be fooled into thinking these boards have less performance because they are easy to sail, they are high performance machines!

Along with a brand new board concept, comes the challenge of also developing a matching fin. Choco fins, already very experienced in race and freerace fins, was the perfect partner to develop the right fin for the Ray. The final G10 CNC foiled design, with just the right amount of lift, drive and control makes for a truly great allround shape.

Built in a Wood Sandwich unfinished construction, the Ray´s offer an affordable solution to pure Slalom boards in terms of weight, durability and ease of use!
